In Atlanta, Mario Falcone got to know Lee Thompkins and quickly fell in love. Jim Gordon discovered her and Mario together after he made the decision to leave Gotham City in search of her. After a scuffle, Mario healed Jim’s wounds at Gotham General Hospital while he was employed there. Leslie is later informed by Mario about his meeting and subsequent connection with Gordon.
Mario meets Gordon at the precinct after Jervis Tetch kidnaps Leslie in order to save Valerie Vale and Leslie. Mario pulls out his gun and aims it at Tetch’s head, but Tetch tells Mario that he anticipated this and takes the rounds out of the gun. Leslie commends Mario for saving Valerie from taking a bullet to the stomach.
When Leslie discovers Jim comatose in the hospital, he informs Mario that he wanted Jim out of their life. Leslie later tells Mario that Jim is going back to work for the GCPD. Jim unexpectedly comes up for the engagement party in search of a suspect. Jim is confronted by Mario on his feelings for Leslie, and he issues a threat of arrest for bodily assault. Jim chooses not to arrest Mario for hitting him, but if Mario hits him again, he will arrest him again, which infuriates and degrades Mario. Jim goes back to looking find the culprit.

Carpinello has appeared as Franco Leoni; Constantine’s enforcer and Grace’s ex-boyfriend in the American television drama The Mob Doctor. An FBI undercover agent is attempting to dismantle the Chicago mob. The show centers on Grace Devlin, a surgical resident who balances working at the hospital with defending her brother from the Mafia. Grace helps everyone they ask in order to pay off her brother’s debt.
Carpinello So Notorious
James played Pete in the American sitcom So Notorious. In addition to Tori, the show stars her close friends Sasan, an openly bisexual Iranian-American who occasionally gets critical, Pete, a roommate who shares Tori’s condo and has a habit of bringing women to the place by bragging about Tori being his roommate, and Janey, a real estate agent with a habit of being nosy and ambitious. Additionally, she can be seen walking her overweight pug, Mimi LaRue, around in gaudy designer clothing.
