Dale appeared in Season 3 of 24 as Chase Edmunds. Additionally, he provided the voice of the same character in 24: The Game. Prior to becoming a field agent and Jack Bauer’s partner at CTU Los Angeles, Chase Edmunds was a federal agent who operated covertly for CTU Washington, D.C. In addition, he dated Kim, Jack’s daughter, and the two eventually moved out after what appeared to be Jack’s death. Later, before retiring into exile, Jack summoned him out of hiding to assist him in making one final undercover trip to Kim. During the fight to take down an outlaw biker gang, he lost his life.

They are up against another terrorist organization headed by Sid Wilson, whose boss was shot by Madsen in a CTU raid. When Chase and Madsen try to sneak inside NJH Science Technology to get a crucial synchronizer gadget, security stops them.
Madsen intends to use man-made earthquakes to completely destroy Los Angeles. After meeting Jack, Chase is told to remain hidden in order to obtain a hard drive that has information on every CTU agent that is operating undercover. In an attempt to get the CTU hard drive, they sneak into a building and have to blast their way out. Once more going undercover, Chase follows Jack on his cell phone while pretending to be a truck driver. After escaping Fort Lesker, they arrive at the LA docks, where they pursue Madsen and apprehend Jack.

Dale appears in the HBO series The Pacific as Pfc. Robert Leckie. First-class private One of The Pacific’s three central characters is Robert “Lucky” Leckie. He was assigned to How Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, and saw action in all of the division’s major campaigns until halfway through Peleliu. After that, he was moved to 2nd Battalion intelligence and then back to How Company.
Participating in the Battle of the Tenaru, Leckie, a member of the 1st Marine Regiment, is shown arriving on Guadalcanal with his regiment. Leckie and his allies survive the combat despite suspicions; one Japanese soldier is killed and the other is tortured. Leckie murders the man, disguising his identity with the torture. Lt. Hugh “Ivy League” Corrigan ignores Leckie despite his best attempts, which makes Leckie resent Corrigan. Leckie is seen eating peaches he pilfered from an Army division and reading letters to Vera. They are terribly frightened the next morning, but they survive a Japanese bombing. After fighting for a further month, a crewman commends them for their contribution to Guadalcanal.
