Who did McLaughlin play on Grey’s Anatomy?

In the Grey’s Anatomy episode “Sympathy for the Parents” from season six, McLaughlin portrayed Aaron Karev. Aaron’s early years were probably a lot like those of his brother, Alex. His mother suffered from schizophrenia, and his father was violent. He was in foster care for a while as well. Alex raised Aaron as his own father before going into foster care.

Almost seven years after Alex’s last visit home, Aaron visited Alex in Seattle. He displayed his hernia to him, which Alex promised would be fixed after he convinced Dr. Bailey to do a pro-bono operation on him. Aaron was furious with Alex for not telling them about his marriage and divorce, which he learned about through Arizona and Lexie. In the hospital, the two brothers got into arguments and fights. Despite Aaron’s best efforts, the surgery was ultimately performed. After they made up, Aaron departed.

Aaron received a schizophrenia diagnosis many months later. Since his mother was also mentally ill and had stopped taking her medications, Alex was the only member of the family who was of legal age and suitable to have him committed for treatment after he attempted to kill Amber. As a result, he returned to Iowa. He claims that Amber, his younger sister, shares their older brother Alex’s intelligence.

Quantico

On the ABC drama series Quantico, McLaughlin was cast in the regular role of FBI agent Ryan Booth in 2015. Ryan Booth is an FBI agent who was formerly a CIA agent. He had thought he was working secretly as an FBI recruit while he was at Quantico, but Liam O’Connor informed him that he was actually retraining after being dropped as a special agent. It was discovered that his boss, Liam, was the mastermind behind the bombings in the alternate timeline. After the crisis at Quantico was resolved, Ryan was chosen by the Bureau to take part in an undercover operation.

The goal of the operation was to identify the rogue CIA agents who are planning an attack on the US government. He is later labeled as a criminal and departs the country to avoid capture by law enforcement. Actor Jake McLaughlin plays him.

Believe

McLaughlin appeared as William Tate, Jr. in the American fantasy drama television series Believe. Tate is seasoned and jaded by seven years of captivity and the tragic loss of his soul mate, Nina Adams (not knowing Skouras pushed her to abandon their connection). William was previously a death row convict in a national security prison. Tate has a long history of violence and run-ins with the law due to his recurrent anger management issues.

Winter (posing as a priest) visits him just before his execution for two counts of felony murder, of which he claims he is innocent of, something no one ever believed, having been set up by his comrades during a robbery. If he agrees to protect Bo, Winter can perhaps go free. Tate grudgingly accepts Winter’s help and, eventually, his job offer to serve as Bo’s bodyguard. While the information sounds impossible, Winter is eventually persuaded to tell Bo, who feels he knew all along. Initially, he is ignorant that he is actually Bo’s father (a fact known by Winter’s team, the Orchestra Project, and the FBI). He then develops into a more loving and encouraging parent figure.
