He is the writer and actor of eight acclaimed one-man plays: Letters to Declan (1993), Just the Guy (2002), What He Left Behind (2006), “Other Cool Things” (2010), “Finished and Unfinished” (2013), “5 Songs” (2015), “Jerky: Four Days in the Dark” (2017), and “A Stand Up Guy” (2019). He began his acting career on “The Late Show” and then in “Shakes the Clown” opposite Bobcat Goldthwait. His other films include Heartbreak Ridge starring Clint Eastwood and the television production Ruby Ridge. Gallagher briefly starred in his own sitcom, Bringing up Jack (ABC’s “Bringing up Jack”). He is now seen as a member of the public TV series MoneyTrack.
