Aurelia Johnson is a contraband slave who captures Samuel’s heart, but she is mistreated by the tyrannical hospital steward Silas Bullen. Emma gets approved to work as a volunteer nurse, and Alice, her younger sister, finds out that her beau Tom is a patient in a hopeless mental state. Once the most effective nurse, Anne feels intimidated by Mary and schemes to have Dr. Hale, her lover, work against her.
When Jed tends to the injured Confederate soldier, he is put to the test after passing his military medical examination. Mary wants to support him during his withdrawal after learning of his morphine addiction. Silas becomes Aurelia’s father, and Tom ends his own life. After preventing Samuel’s lynching, Jed departs the town.Byron objects to Jed’s desire to get rid of Silas. Silas assists Byron in eliminating the anesthetic chloroform. After being arrested by the Union government, James Sr. intends to hold out until the Confederates r egain Alexandria.
Twisted
Falahee made an appearance as Green Grove’s newest student, Charlie McBride. He was Danny’s cellmate in juvenile detention; he shows signs of love interest in Lacey but later makes moves at Jo. He is Tess Masterson’s biological son and Tara Desai’s adopted son.
Danny Desai, a lovely sixteen-year-old who was accused of killing his aunt when he was eleven, is the main character of the show. After serving five years in juvenile court, he gets freed and goes back to Green Grove, New York, his birthplace. As Danny navigates the difficulties of interacting with his critical peers and attempts to renew past friendships, he is named as the main suspect in a classmate’s murder.Danny gets motivated to clear his name after realizing that the town does not care about the truth and is only interested in charging him with the crime. In the interim, he needs to keep a secret that he has never shared with anyone: the identity of the true killer of his aunt.
