Harvey Guillén is an American actor well recognized for his portrayal of the human familiar Guillermo de la Cruz in the 2019 television series What We Do in the Shadows.

Guillén is the son of Mexican immigrants. When his teachers were unable to pronounce his first name, he changed his name to Harvey. Guillén is multilingual, speaking Spanish, English, and Japanese, the latter of which he acquired on a thirteen-month journey to Japan.

Will attempts to flee to her uncle’s, but is apprehended by Dr. Rand. Will suggests at the end of the episode that she is willing to give Camp Victory a chance.
The Magicians
He appeared as Benedict Pickwick, a map-making servant of the court in Fillory, son of Tick Pickwick in the American fantasy television series The Magicians. Shape Island

What We Do in the Shadows
He appeared as Guillermo de la Cruz, Nandor’s long-suffering Latino familiar in the American comedy horror mockumentary television series What We Do in the Shadows. Serving his lord for over ten years in the hopes of becoming a vampire, he is frustrated by his unjustifiable workload and Nandor’s indifference to his own mortality. Guillermo has mixed emotions about his desire to turn into a vampire after learning that he is descended from renowned vampire hunter Abraham Van Helsing and demonstrating his exceptional expertise at killing vampires. Guillermo becomes Nandor, Nadja, and Laszlo’s bodyguard due to his prowess as a vampire hunter. He comes out to his family as gay, but at the same time he tells them about his wish to turn into a vampire, which makes Nadja want to hide his confession from them.
Along with energy vampire Colin Robinson, traditional vampires Nandor, Laszlo, and Nadja live together in a house on Staten Island that is kept up by Nandor’s buddy Guillermo. The vampires constantly battle the outside world, other supernatural creatures, and/or one another, and Guillermo makes a sincere effort to strike a balance between his commitment to Nandor and his desire to become a vampire, which is made more difficult by the fact that he is descended from the vampire hunter Van Helsing.
