They reconcile and talk about their relationships, but neither of them commits. Hae Sung presents the Korean idea of in-yeon, in which a brief meeting indicates that they met in a previous life.
Arthur suspects Hae Sung is a stumbling block in their perfect love tale, but Nora expresses her affection for Arthur. They go out to supper and find up at a bar where they only speak Korean. Hae Sung mentions in-yeon and speculates on their past lives and what may have happened if they had never left Korea. They return to Arthur and Nora’s flat after apologizing to Arthur. Hae Sung encourages them to come to Korea and hails an Uber. As the stress mounts, they both begin to wonder about their future partnership. Nora sobs and collapses into Arthur’s arms as they leave.
