However, for Dale, maintaining the high-quality standard of his Baskin-Robbins is always the top concern, no matter how many hearts are shattered along the road. Dale did, however, have some pity for Lang, allowing him to take a free smoothie as a courtesy while leaving his establishment after being sacked.
Dale recruited Scott Lang in 2015, but fired him shortly after learning that Lang had served three years in San Quentin State Prison for burgling Vistacorp and had lied on his application. Dale did, however, confide to Lang that he admired him for carrying out the burglary. Dale agreed to look the other way provided Lang snatched a smoothie on his way out, which he did.
Dale reunited with Scott Lang in 2026, who had become famous as the superhero Ant-Man following the Battle of the Earth. Dale invited Lang back to Baskin-Robbins and dubbed him “Employee of the Century”, shaking his hand in front of the cameras and beaming at him. Days later, Dale used his culinary abilities to create a unique ant-shaped cake for Lang’s daughter Cassie Lang.
