LaRue played for her role as Det. Natalia Boa Vista, a Level 2 CSI working on CSI: Miami. Season four sees the breakup of CSI trainee Natalia and her ex-husband Nick because of a pregnancy concern. Natalia is concerned about Nick’s harassment and the restraining order he served her, despite Eric’s protective attitude. Natalia learns in season five that Nick is employed by a private crime-scene cleanup company after being released from prison. To remove the protective order, she needs to reach an agreement with Nick. Natalia learns of Nick’s arm breaking in Season 6 and the ensuing fallout, which could result in Calleigh and Jake splitting up.
CSI Natalia grows more protective of Ryan Wolfe despite her attraction to him. Following the death of Jesse Cardoza, they continue to play basketball together. She played Maria Santos in the ABC soap opera, All My Children. When neurosurgeon Maria Santos started working at Pine Valley Hospital in 1993, she fell in love with Edmund Grey. They were hitched and adopted Sam, Anita Santos’s friend who was expecting a child. But when his original mother changed her mind, they had to return him. After Maria and Edmund split up, she found out she was expecting a child after giving Sam back to Kelsey. She had an affair with Dimitri Marick, her brother-in-law, for one night.
