He starred in the films Black Death (2010) and Strawberry Fields (2011). He has provided narration for the radio dramas Places in Between and Black Watch. Elliott appeared in Black Watch as Private Fraser, a role he played for the National Theatre of Scotland for two and a half years. In 2010, he played Claudio in the Almeida Theatre production of Measure for Measure.
