Career
Hot made her television debut on Stacked. She also appeared in the short film “The In-Laws”. Known for her impersonations of Jeff Goldblum, Howard Stern and Jay Leno, Gold is the star of ABC’s celebrity impersonation competition series “The Next Best”. She served as a camera operator on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” in the series “Cheaker by the Dozen” (2003) and had a recurring role in cosplay on ABC’s short-lived “The Dana Carvey Show” in 1996. The duo wrote several pilots, one of which was sold to Touchstone TV. Touchstone purchased the script for “The Wife,” about two same-sex best friends. He has appeared in many television shows such as The Mentalist (2009) and Frasier (2004). The 2014 comedy special The Chosen was released on Netflix. Hot portrayed himself in the third season of the blockbuster series Crash, which premiered in 2019.
