In the second episode, Orlins flipped to vote out an indecisive swing voter named Dolly Neely, which angered her alliance. The group voted out their male rivals until Chris Daugherty was the only one left after the six remaining female castaways re-aligned at the merge. Leann Slaby attempted to eliminate Orlins despite Daugherty losing immunity.
Daugherty worked successfully with Twila Tanner and Scout Cloud Lee to persuade Orlins to vote out Slaby after Julie Berry informed him that he was safe. Orlins re-aligned herself with Berry in response to Tanner’s irritation after Ami Cusack was voted out. Berry was eliminated as a result of Orlins’s failure to persuade Daugherty of his immunity. The following day, on Day 37, in the finale, Orlins was voted out as the 15th person, placing him fourth overall.
Seven seasons later, Orlins was back on Survivor: Micronesia. Orlins started the season with Malakal tribe, a returning player. Jonathan Penner, Yau-Man Chan, and Ami Cusack joined Orlins in forming an alliance. Notwithstanding being designated by a contradicting union, Orlins endure the primary Ancestral Chamber after Jonny Fairplay requested to be removed to accompany his pregnant sweetheart.
