In 2013, Elijah Daniel spearheaded an online petition to the White House to declare Miley Cyrus’s song “Party in the USA” as the country’s anthem. It received international attention. In 2014, he began hosting a caper called ‘Text Prank Thursday’ on the comedy website ‘CollegeHumor’ in Los Angeles. Daniel later revealed to ‘Vice Media’ that he had begun to excel as a social media influencer, amassing a sizable fan base on the internet. By the end of 2016, his Twitter account had more than 95,000 followers.
In 2016, he announced on Twitter that he would write an erotica with Donald Trump as the protagonist and that he would drink heavily before beginning to write. The idea for an erotic novella caricaturing the current US President came from a tweet expressing the user’s desire to have a romp with ‘Bernie Sanders,’ a US Senator from Vermont. The erotica titled ‘Trump Temptations: The Billionaire & the Bellboy’ was a sarcastic take on E.L. James’ ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’. ‘Trump Temptations: The Billionaire & the Bellboy’ was released on Amazon just hours after Elijah announced his intention to publish his erotic work. He has only written one book so far, and it is a novel.
Daniel made a cameo appearance in the 2014 film ‘Lost River,’ directed by Ryan Gosling, a well-known Hollywood actor. He made a brief appearance in the film ‘Happy Ending’ the same year. He also took advantage of opportunities to appear in episodes of a few TV shows.
