Fox News stated in an internal memo announcing the firing that it “strictly bans sexual harassment, misconduct, and discrimination.” Henry has disputed the allegations, and his lawyer has stated that he believes he will be vindicated in the end. When a lady he had “groomed” and “coerced” into having a sexual relationship refused, a federal lawsuit claimed Henry raped her.

The lawsuit, filed on behalf of Jennifer Eckhart and Cathy Areu by Douglas Wigdor and Michael Willemin, also claims that Fox News supported and promoted Henry after receiving complaints of sexually inappropriate behavior and that they only fired him earlier in the year because they were aware of an impending lawsuit.
