Walker made his professional theatrical debut in 1983 as a punk rocker in the musical ‘Labelled with Love.’ He starred in a few more theater performances over the next two years before making his TV debut in 1985 with the sitcom ‘Dempsey and Makepeace.’ He played a minor role in the series. He also appeared in the children’s television show ‘Dramarama.’ As a gay guy, he garnered a lot of attention in the ‘BBC One program ‘In Sickness and in Health.’ This was followed by guest appearances in ‘The Bill,’ ‘Tales of the Unexpected,’ and ‘Bulman.’ The talented actor did not have enough success in the 1980s, but the 1990s were a different story.
