Doug Levitt is an American singer-songwriter and writer best known for his project The Greyhound Diaries, which spanned more than a decade and traveled over 100,000 miles by Greyhound bus. Levitt has been featured on CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, The Wall Street Journal, Billboard, and Reuters.

While in London, Levitt changed careers, going from foreign correspondent to singer-songwriter. After relocating to Nashville, Levitt collaborated with acclaimed Americana producer David Henry, who has produced albums for Josh Rouse, Yo La Tengo, and Guster. The two began a long-term partnership on The Greyhound Diaries. Levitt has shot over 20,000 photographs during his travels and has worked with The Kennedy Center, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, the Woody Guthrie Center, the Southern Poverty Law Center, the University of Southern California, and homeless shelters around the country.  David Henry produced the recordings, which include contributions from Steve Bowman, a founding member of Counting Crows, and Craig Wright, drummer for Steve Earle and Eric Church.
