Donna Vivino is a singer-actress from the United States who works in theater, television, and movies. She is well-known for her roles as the original Young Cosette in Les Misérables on Broadway and Elphaba in the Broadway version of Wicked. In January 2023, she made an appearance as guest star Rachel Ford on Law & Order. Alongside Bobby Cannavale, she will feature in the upcoming movies “Inappropriate Behavior” and “Family Affair”.

Donna’s Parents -Family
She is the daughter of Terri Vivino-Apgar and Jerry Vivino, who plays with Jimmy Vivino and the Basic Cable Band, and the niece of Floyd Vivino. After attending Fair Lawn High School and Barnard College of Columbia University in New York City, Vivino was raised in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. She is the sibling of sisters Natalia and Antonia Vivino and brothers Danny and Michael Vivino. Her only child is named Hendrix.
Wicked
Vivino performed as Elphaba for 20 months during the first U.S. tour of the critically acclaimed musical Wicked. On October 30, 2007, she embarked on the tour as Carmen Cusack’s backup. December 26, 2007 was her very first performance, and November 5, 2008 was her debut in the starring part. She acted with Katie Rose Clarke in the lead role of Glinda, and then with Chandra Lee Schwartz. The day of her last show was July 4, 2010. Donna replaced Jennifer DiNoia as the stand-in Elphaba on Broadway on August 23, 2011. On September 14 in the afternoon, she covered for the first time while lead Teal Wicks wasn’t there. Wicks was replaced by Jackie Burns after her contract expired.
Burns, by the way, took Vivino’s position on the national tour. As a stand-in, Vivino was reunited with Clarke, who was reprising her major role. Vivino continued to work with Burns throughout the final two weeks of her contract when she was ill with the flu. She then continued, first filling in for Lindsay Mendez and later Willemijn Verkaik as Elphaba. On November 3, 2013, she departed the program.
