Don Friesen is an American stand-up comedian. Friesen performed on Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham” (2009) episode #4.2, which aired in October 2009.

Career
During his senior year at USC, Friesen founded a school improvement group called Comedus Interruptus, which still operates weekly on campus. In 1999, Friesen won the prestigious San Francisco International Comedy Competition. He returned to the competition in 2005 with a different product and won first place again, becoming the only person to win the competition twice. His first win earned him a spot to perform on the Martin Short Show, and immediately after the show he was asked to change his shirt and record a second show in front of the same audience. The second episode was released a month later. Frierson also appeared in Byron Allen’s graphic novel Unleashed. His episodes are included in the best-selling DVD compilation Comics Unleashed. Friesen’s stand-up DVD/CD “Inexplicable” was recorded at the Crest Theater in Sacramento, California and was released independently in July 2005. It was first released in October 2009.
