In the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episodes After, Before, and Stolen, she played a different Jiaying. Following Terrigenesis, Jiaying (Mandarin: 潳颖 JiŎyíng) was an Inhuman who was endowed with the ability to absorb life force. By using her power, Jiaying was able to take the life of several Inhumans who had voluntarily given their all for her, keeping her youthful appearance for several decades.
Because of this, she was able to use her knowledge and expertise to mentor many Inhumans over the course of several generations, assisting them in learning to manage and eventually control their abilities. Along with her husband, Calvin Johnson, she worked in a clinic in China. Together, they produced a daughter named Daisy. Werner Reinhardt killed Jiaying after HYDRA grabbed her and dissected her. Her husband discovered her body and used sutures to piece her back together so that her healing abilities might revive her.
Jiaying’s moral compass was twisted by her encounter with Reinhardt and the subsequent abduction of her daughter by S.H.I.E.L.D., leading to a callous disregard for humankind and a distance from her spouse. She eventually saw her daughter again and rose to the position of head of Afterlife, the Inhuman society on Earth. Then, when S.H.I.E.L.D. came to her for peace, she declared open warfare on them. When Jiaying’s daughter sided with S.H.I.E.L.D., her hate of people drove her to attack the girl, which ultimately resulted in Zabo turning on Jiaying and killing her.
Lachman role on Severance
Lachman is an actress who is Australian-Nepali. In the first and second seasons of the thriller Severance on Apple TV+, she played Gemma Scout. The protagonist of the suspenseful television series Severance is Gemma Scout, also known as Ms. Casey while she is employed at Lumon. Although she works part-time at Lumon Industries as the Wellness Director for the Severed Floor, she is thought to be deceased.

Lachman appears in the film Altered Carbon as Reileen Kawahara. Takeshi Kovacs’s sister was Reileen Kawahara. Relieen was discovered to have survived and grown into one of the most potent meths in history, despite it being initially thought to have perished in 2130. Takeshi later killed her in an attempt to put an end to her terror.
She was a CTAC detective who went by the name Gena and attempted to apprehend Holly Togram, a tattoo artist for The Yakuza, in order to aid with her investigation. Takeshi Kovacs, going by the nickname Ken, interrupted Reileen. Together with other CTAC soldiers, Ken, Holly, and Gena had to fend off an attack by Tech Ninjas. Reileen is a person that exhibits an insane love for her brother along with features of arrogance, manipulation, and self-centeredness. She feels that by getting rid of the weak emotions, which she believes are what killed her mother, she has improved.
She doesn’t know anything about love or its implications, though. Reileen has dedicated generations to clearing her brother’s name, but her infatuation is almost incestuous; she is jealous of other women Takeshi is attracted to, which causes them to be eliminated or even killed. Takeshi is driven away from her by this affection. Additionally, Reileen exhibits sadistic inclinations by playing with others, like keeping “Janus” as a pet, and imprisoning Quellcrist Falconer. Despite her great intelligence and ability to organize and manage intricate problems, she can be easily angered and easily provoked.
