Ponyboy is harassed and assaulted by some socially affluent teens, who are chased away by some of his fellow greasers. They take a train to Windrixville, Oklahoma, and hide in an abandoned church. Ponyboy and Two-Bit go to the hospital to see Johnny and Dallas. Dallas encourages them to win the upcoming rumble, which has been prompted by Bob’s death.
