Sheen wanted to be an actor since childhood. In the third grade, he memorized one side of George Carlin’s album for show-and-tell purposes. He first performed stand-up at age nine and at an open mic at age 13. His films often deal with personal issues, such as his depression and alcoholism. Sheen frequently tours with Brian Posehn. He has covered the Akumal Comedy Festival in Mexico. In 2017, he appeared on the second season of the Seeso streaming series The Guest List. From 2011 to 2014, he hosted the Deliciously Mediocre podcast with Seattle comedian Douglas Gale. His debut album, Holy Drivel, was recorded with Minus the Bear producer Matt Bayles. Chris Spector of Midwest Records praised Sheen’s “high-energy attack that never loses momentum.” Sheen’s latest album, Macho Caballero, was released on April 24, 2020, via Stand Up! The record reached #6 on the iTunes Comedy Chart and #7 on the Amazon Chart. Reviewing “Marjo Caballero” in Entertainment, Lanoy called her “smart, always funny and hilarious” and said that her technique was “so beautiful that it would make other artists jealous”.
