Morse Outsiders
In Outsiders, he plays “Big Foster” Farrel. The most powerful man on the mountain, Big Foster” Farrell VI is the heir apparent to Bren’in, the Farrell family’s leader. After being denied the opportunity to ascend, Farrell takes drastic measures to maintain his position of authority and try to get rid of Asa, whom he views as a betrayer of his family.
The Farrell clan is a notorious mining tribe that lives in seclusion on Shay Mountain in Kentucky’s Appalachian Mountains. After ten years, Asa Farrell arrives to the mountain, and his cousin Lady Ray Farrell declares she will hand over authority to her son, Big Foster. Big Foster is kept in a cage until he is released because he will never be able to forgive Asa for leaving.
The mining firm intends to evict the Farrell family, but Deputy Sheriff Wade Houghton—a victim of PTSD, alcoholism, and opiate addiction—warns his superiors that the procedure would be violent and hazardous. Lady Ray pardons Asa since she thinks the eviction is a cataclysmic event. Distressed, Big Foster plans a raid that kills Big Foster’s younger son.

Morse appeared as Paul Larson, a dean at Pembroke University who oversees the English department in the American comedy drama television series The Chair. The new chair of the English department at Pembroke University is Professor Ji-Yoon Kim. Being the first woman selected for the job, she tries to manage her relationship with her famous colleague Bill Dobson, a friend and infatuation of hers, as well as raise her independent adopted daughter.
Morse House
Morse appeared as Detective Michael Tritter in Season 3. For the third season of House, which ran from 2006 to 2007, the primary antagonist was Detective Michael Tritter, a recurrent character. Gregory House is approached by Tritter to offer an apology for leaving him with a thermometer lodged in his rectum. Tritter finds out about the doctor’s addiction to Vicodin and makes him go to rehab when House declines.
The judge reveals that she does not think House is the drug addict he attempted to paint him as when she sentences him to one night in jail for contempt of court and completing his recovery. Actor Michael Morse was first hesitant to play the character because it was meant to be a “toe-to-toe” rival to House. But for his performance in the episode Finding Judas, he was commended for it and nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Dramatic Series. A 2006 TV Guide interview with Morse revealed that a return for the role would be “practically impossible.”
