Diamante began calling boxing fights for USA Metro Boxing and the New York Golden Gloves in New York City. His first battle took place in the basement of Lower Manhattan’s Church Street Boxing Gym. Diamante served in the New York boxing world for several years, announcing fights for USA Boxing Metro and the New York Golden Gloves. Since then, he has announced events on HBO, Showtime, ESPN, DAZN, Fox Sports, NBC, CBS, and Sky Sports Diamante secured an exclusive partnership with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing in 2018, including broadcasts on DAZN and Sky Sports. Diamante acted as the official announcer for Matchroom’s Fight Camp series in the summer of 2020, during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Diamante has announced several MMA and Muay Thai events, including New York City’s first legally sanctioned MMA show in May 2013. Diamante was chosen by Jay-Z and Nets management in 2012 to be the official voice of the renamed NBA team, the Brooklyn Nets.
