Daphne Rubin-Veg is an actress, dancer, and singer-songwriter from the United States most well-known roles are Mimi Marquez from the Broadway musical Rent’s 1996 premiere and Lucy from the Off-Broadway drama Jack Goes Boating’s 2007 premiere.

She works as an exotic dancer at the Cat Scratch nightclub, takes drugs, and has HIV. She is Roger’s love interest during the show and lives downstairs from Mark and Roger.
