Daniel Sarcos is a Venezuelan actor, stand-up comedian, and television personality who is most known for hosting the Miss Venezuela competition from 2004 to 2009 and Sper Sábado Sensacional from 1997 to 2009. Venevisión, a Venezuelan television channel, broadcasts both of these shows. He has also presented the Telemundo network’s morning show Un Nuevo Da.

In 1994, Sarcos debuted on television as the host of the variety show Frecuencia Latina on Venezolana de Televisión. Venevision hired Sarcos to host Mega Match Sensacional, a new feature on the variety show Supr Sábado Sensacional, in 1996. By the end of the year, then-host Gilberto Correa had stepped down, and Sarcos had taken over as the show’s principal host when the new season began in January 1997, before being succeeded by Leonardo Villalobos in 2010. He also starred in La Guerra De Los Sexos, a spin-off of Sper Sábado Sensacional, beginning in 2000 (co-hosting with Viviana Gibelli) until 2009, when he was succeeded by Winston Vallenilla. In 2006, he starred in the Dominican film Un macho de mujer.
Later, from 2007 to 2008, Sarcos hosted El Gran Navegante. He presented El Familión Nestlé: Trato Hecho (Spanish-language version of Deal or No Deal), which airs on Ecuavisa and is sponsored by Nestlé, after leaving Sper Sábado Sensacional. Following that, on March 25, 2010, he was offered the opportunity to host the Miss Ecuador pageant. Sarcos also became the host of Telemundo’s morning shows Levántate!, presently known as Un Nuevo Da, at the beginning of February 2011. Sarcos is also the host of the Dominican Republic’s Antena Latina show Aqui Se Habla Espanol. Sarcos began hosting La Guerra de Los Sexos in the Dominican Republic on February 23, 2020.
