Gould played Frankie Merman on Seinfeld. Frankie has a reputation for being quite delicate. He was given the moniker “Fragile Frankie Merman” because he used to rush into the woods, dig a hole for himself, and grieve for hours after someone had wounded him. It is revealed that he still has this mentality. Jerry mentions in “The Junk Mail” that Frankie Merman, a friend from high school who witnessed his comedy performance, is going to give him a car because he works at a dealership.

George calls Frankie “the Summer me,” whereas Frankie calls George “the Winter me”. Every year, Jerry went to camp with Frankie rather than George. In “The Junk Mail,” Frankie presents Jerry a big van instead of the new car he had promised him when they were kids. In “The Junk Mail,” Frankie offers Jerry a big van instead of the new automobile he had promised him when they were kids. Jerry and Frankie had always wanted a van.

Frankie is upset and flees into the woods as Kramer tells a falsehood about owning the van. While waiting for his parents, George parks his automobile in the woods. Frankie, recognizing George’s van, runs up and yells, “Seinfeld’s Van!” which George misinterprets as “Son of Sam.” He is among the group when they open the van doors and see Frank and Estelle declaring their “love for one another” after rushing off to dig a hole and meeting up with Jerry, George, and Rhisa again. Following that, he instructs Jerry to sell the van. Jerry nods in agreement.

Working

Gould appeared as Jimmy Clarke in the American sitcom television series Working. Working was a satirical look at office life within a large corporate company. NBC attempted to revive Working during the second season due to declining ratings, replacing Jimmy and Hal with Debi Mazar as Liz and Rebecca McFarland as Val.

Danica McKellar, who had previously starred with Fred Savage in The Wonder Years, made two guest appearances. The show starred Fred Savage as the naive Matt Peyser who had just graduated from college and was ready to climb the corporate ladder. His ideals are constantly challenged by his boss, Tim Deale, played by Maurice Godin.

Only 35 of the 39 episodes that were produced were aired before NBC canceled Working in January 1999 due to declining ratings. Throughout the course of the show, humor and a likeness to a girl Savage grew up with were prominent themes.

Ted

Gould appeared as Priest in the American fantasy comedy series Ted. In between Ted (2012)’s opening scene and main plot, the series takes place in 1993 and 1994 and follows the early years of a sentient teddy bear named Ted as he lives in Framingham, Massachusetts, with 16-year-old John Bennett and his family. The Bennett family consists of John and Ted, as well as John’s mother Susan, father Matty, and cousin Blaire, who lives with them while attending a local college. Ted gets into trouble when the rest of the family is at work or school, thus in the pilot episode, he is made to go to school with John going forward.
