Twin Peaks

He appeared as Bobby Briggs in Twin Peaks, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me, and Twin Peaks.  One of the first suspects in Laura Palmer’s murder was Robert “Bobby” Briggs, a boisterous and sardonic young man active in local crime in Twin Peaks, Washington. The son of U.S. Air Force Major Garland Briggs, he trafficked cocaine, even killed someone, and was often associated with gangsters like Leo Johnson and Jacques Renault.

Bobby later made amends, got married to Shelly Johnson, had a daughter, and rose through the ranks to become a well-liked deputy in the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Department. He played a significant role in the 2016 inquiry into his late father’s research on Judy and the Black Lodge ghosts. In February 1989, Bobby and Mike Nelson were worried about their cocaine supply running out due to a $5,000 debt to Leo. They proclaimed Mike the “man” and left Laura missing. Bobby asked Leo Johnson for more cocaine but was denied. Jacques Renault suggested a source for Bobby, and they had drinks in the woods until a drug dealer arrived. Laura claimed Bobby killed Mike, but Bobby panicked and killed him. Bobby instructed Laura to hide $10,000 in her safety deposit box the next day.

The group, lead by Juliet and Lassiter, discovers Paula is actually his daughter from a previous relationship with Lucy. They have Lassiter and Juliet save them at the last minute from being killed together with Westley, Shawn, Gus, and Bob.
