From 2017 to 2020, Raviv was the senior Washington correspondent for i24 News, based in Tel Aviv and New York. (CBS Radio Network). He also reported on television in Washington, D.C., for the CBS Evening News and anchored the 1997-98 children’s news program “In the News.”As of January 21, 2017, Raviv hosts the weekly radio show CBS News Weekend Roundup. Raviv is a New Yorker who graduated from Harvard University. In 1974, he joined CBS All News Radio (WEEI) in Boston. In 1976, he moved to WCBS News in New York and then began networking at the New York news station. His publishing career began working in the Tel Aviv bureau from 1978 to 1980, followed by 12 years as a publisher in the London bureau.
There he began appearing occasionally on CBS television. He worked in the Miami bureau from 1993 to 1997 before being appointed national correspondent for CBS News in Washington. He joined i24 News in 2017 when it launched its channel in the United States. He is also the author of numerous books, including the 1990 bestseller All Princes of Spies: The Complete History of the Israeli Intelligence Community, which he co-wrote with journalist Yossi Melman, and Comic Wars, the self-titled book about Marvel Entertainment’s rise from the franchise. He is also the author of the book.
