She chased breaking news, contributed enterprise articles, and covered general assignment and feature stories. One of her Emmy-nominated investigative stories resulted in a modification in fire escape inspection standards in Philadelphia.
Crystal worked as a reporter and fill-in anchor/host at WBRE-TV in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton before moving to Philadelphia.
