In the same year, he appeared in Red Noses, a black comedy produced by Peter Barnes and directed by Michael Fields at Fullerton College. Since 1994, Williams has appeared in a variety of TV shows, including Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Beverly Hills, 90210, NYPD Blue, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, JAG, Living Single, Nash Bridges, Providence, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and The X-Files. He was the fifth cast member in Will & Grace’s original pilot, playing Will’s legal practice partner, but he was dismissed during rehearsals because director Jim Burrows stated they didn’t need his role.

Williams joined the cast of Prison Break as The Company’s assassin, Wyatt Mathewson.
