He was Jake Peralta’s arch-enemy; yet, they share characteristics such as an immature and laid-back approach to circumstances, as well as a great love of pop culture. Rosa Diaz was his infatuation.
Rosa sends in Doug Judy in Pontiac Bandit, who promises to be able to lead Jake to the Pontiac Bandit, Jake’s arch-nemesis. Doug Judy leads Rosa and Jake to meet his mother, but the guy becomes frightened and flees. Jake ignores her and lets Doug Judy in by himself. He exposes himself to be the Pontiac Bandit and frames Norman Lee, his barber, as the bandit. Jake and Rosa find Doug Judy and broker a deal with him for reduced jail time in Pontiac Bandit Returns. They rob a car and run into the drug lord, who takes them to his hideout. Doug Judy reappears, explaining that the room service waiter was his collaborator and that ‘Lobster Thermidor’ was his code name.
