After leaving corporate America, Hansen presented the Jack Nicklaus pilot Killer Golf and Travel Channel segments, worked as a fashion and fitness model, and appeared on the covers of Hot Rod Magazine, Muscle & Fitness, and other prominent magazines. Hansen’s first major television gig was as co-host of the popular car makeover show Overhaulin’. She went on to anchor Spike TV’s Powerblock for eight seasons, which consisted of four half-hour automobile shows. She hosted a Spike TV special called Great Builds, and she hosted the Fox Sports Net travel adventure series “Destination Wild,” which won a Telly Award.

She has previously presented TLC’s automotive-themed series Rides and Million Dollar Motors. Hansen has been a spokesmodel for Matco Tools, Dodge, and Rolls-Royce. Her involvement in Overhaulin’ was far from insignificant; she assisted with the breakdown and reassembling of cars for the show.
