Ingle began making music under the alias NeverShoutNever! in 2007 as a solo project (age 16). His first exposure came via the internet, where he found success on MySpace before releasing The Yippee EP on July 29, 2008. He appeared on TRL on July 30, 2008, and performed his single “Bigcitydreams.”In the fall of 2008, he toured with Hellogoodbye and Ace Enders. The spelling was later changed to ‘Never Shout Never,'[citation needed], and the band expanded from a solo project to a full band. Ingle announced in December 2018 that Never Shout Never would disband after a brief tour in Mexico and Brazil the following month.
However, two days later, he asked fans on Instagram if he should continue making music under the name. Following the final show in Brazil, he stated that the band’s future was uncertain. After a 5-year hiatus from new music, Ingle will release Unborn Spark, an acoustic LP, on June 12, 2020. Ingle and fellow Never Shout Never members Taylor McFee, Hayden Kaiser, and former member Caleb Denison formed the experimental band “Eatmewhileimhot!” in 2008, initially making music with post-hardcore influences and later experimenting by expanding their sound into metalcore, deathcore, and experimental metastasis.
Ingle released his debut solo EP, The Modern Racket, in 2011. In 2012, he released The Light, a free solo EP. In 2012, he launched a side project called Gonzo and released three EPs: Beet Pharm, Da Funq, and Esoteric. Ingle launched a new psychedelic project called Dryymy in 2020. Ingle announced on Twitter in 2022 that he would start a new screamo project called “Shogun,” and that he would be working on an EP for the project. Ingle announced on Twitter on March 8, 2022, that he would be retiring from music and would not be releasing “Shogun.” He did, however, announce a new Shogun single for August 2022. Ingle has also begun an EDM project called Shen Chow.
