Peter disagreed and told him to leave the child alone, which irritated Flash. Instead, Flash argued back and almost got into a fight with Peter until Gwen Stacy intervened. Flash had genuine sympathy for Peter and his sadness following the death of Peter’s uncle, Ben Parker. After The Lizard was defeated, Flash expressed his admiration for the masked hero.
