In 2010, Sacca established Lowercase Capital LLC in Truckee, California, after closing his Lowercase Ventures Fund I, an $8.4 million seed fund with investments in Uber, Docker, Optimizely, StyleSeat, Instagram, and Twitter. He made investments in companies such as Kickstarter, Twilio, and Lookout in 2009. In the summer of 2010, Sacca launched a new $1 billion investment fund, and later that year, the fund began buying large blocks of shares from Twitter stockholders.
