Knutson Career
Knutson began performing in comedy in 2006 and began performing stand-up comedy in 2009. In 2010, he won Acme Comedy’s “Funniest Man in the Twin Cities” contest. His acting style is sometimes experimental, varying from first-person acting and sketches or acting, often as someone who doesn’t know he’s good at acting. She has toured the country and performed in comedy shows such as 10,000 Laughs and Gilda’s LaughFest. Vincent Terrace, reviewing the series in his book Internet Comedy TV Series, 1997-2015, found “the character to be a bit rough” but described the series as “about two friends who are only interested in their ideas.”
Knutson founded Valley Meadows with Zach Coulter in 2008. The duo played substitute teacher Gary Shinchenshenzenski and MC Tom Johnson, who foolishly try to gain respect by trying to become rap stars with songs about bad subjects like ice, karate, and more. and Paul Reiser.[18] In 2014, the couple also starred in the online movie Valley Meadows, which Knutson wrote. Syndicated magazine Spotlight praised the film for being “capable of going anywhere.” The web series received four nominations at the 2015 Los Angeles Web Drama Festival: Best Drama, Best Screenplay, Best Actor (Natson), and Best Actor Over (Dan Susmirch).
In 2012, Laughspin.com nominated Valley Meadows for a Reader’s Choice Award for Best Drama. Vincent Terrace, reviewing the series in his book Internet Comedy TV Series, 1997-2015, found “the character to be a bit rough” but described the series as “about two friends who are only interested in their ideas.”Knutson is also a member of the cartoonist group The Turkeys. Knutson and his wife had a son in 2014, and he quickly became a comedy staple. Knutson’s video of her son’s teddy bear meeting the baby for the first time went viral, receiving over 2 million views on YouTube and national media coverage on ABC News, News Talk and Other news. This was followed by another film called Baby Cop in 2014-15.
