Chris Hogan is an American actor and comedian, best known for his role as a recurrent comedian on MADtv. Hogan’s filmography includes Just Shoot Me! (1997), Edtv (1999), and Monkeybone (2001).

Chris Career
Hogan joined the MADtv cast in 1997 as showrunner for the third season. He is best remembered for Alex Borstein’s negative response, “She looks like a man” in “The Swan Lady”, and for his combative role as the restaurant worker, the son cop, or Fox Mulder’s character. Hogan’s other roles include Miguel O’Reilly (“6”), Vonda Parker (“The Parkers”), and financial advisor Milton Cladwell. But Hogan is best remembered for replacing David Herman in his role as Mexican Wrestling Federation Theatrical Superstar’s colorful El Asso Vipo. El Asso struck fear into the hearts of many with his famous one-liner threat: “I’ll break their backs like this with my knees!” After one season of the show, Hogan became the third show to leave MADtv. Since MADtv, Hogan has made a number of television appearances on shows such as 3rd Rock from the Sun, Martin Short’s Primetime Glick, Just Shoot Me!, Grounded for Life as Mr. Kersey, and on The Sopranos as Meadow’s advisor at Columbia University.
