Varra took the side of Gravik and the Skrull Resistance during the Secret Invasion. But when she couldn’t get rid of Fury, she turned on them. After escaping the Resistance’s onslaught, Varra and Fury made a quick visit to the S.A.B.E.R. Space Station with the intention of bringing the Skrulls and Kree people together.
