Detective Fales from the Denver Police Homicide Unit subsequently travels to Wyoming to discuss Cady’s mother’s passing with Walt and Cady. Walt had told Cady her mother had died of cancer, so when she finds out her mother was murdered, she is stunned. Fales informs Walt that the murder suspect was discovered interred in a shallow grave. Detective Fales believes that if Walt did not kill the man, then Henry did, despite Walt’s denials.
Freeman Smallville
Cassidy portrayed Tess Mercer on Smallville. As the half-sister of Lionel Luthor and a former protege of Lex Luthor, Tess Mercer is a metahuman with a special method for rescuing the planet. When she learns about Clark Kent’s secret, she no longer views him as a threat to humanity but as a hero. Tess discovers that she was deceived because of Lex’s betrayal, despite her loyalty to both Lex and her mentor. By preventing Lex from accessing the Luthor financial accounts and combining LuthorCorp with Queen Industries, she is exacting revenge.

Her brother Lex kills her, but her guilt lives on in Lex’s consciousness and returns in a cybernetic form. She overcomes her preoccupation with vengeance as Tess 2.0, an artificial intelligence, and re-joins the Justice League as Watchtower.
