Sunshine was hired in February 2023 as Eric Doden’s press secretary and director of communications. Doden is a contender for governor of Indiana. Sunshine was brought on as Vivek Ramaswamy’s press secretary for his 2024 presidential campaign in December 2023. Donald Trump rehired Sunshine in June 2024 to serve as his deputy director of communications for his 2024 presidential campaign.
