As he begins questioning Irene about her mother’s condition, he finds out that her mother lost her coordination prior to needing to visit the hospital. But as it happens, Irene has ergot poisoning. Her hallucinations persist after treatment, but she now knows that they are just that—hallucinations.
Gossip Girl
From 2007 until 2012, she played the significant recurring character CeCe Rhodes on Gossip Girl. She is the grandmother of Serena and Eric van der Woodsen, Chuck Bass, Scott Rosson, and Lola Rhodes. Dan is only encouraged to tell Serena that he will escort her after she reprimands him. She then tries to buy Rufus off to make sure Dan stays behind after he does. Refusing, he informs Dan of what she did. Serena doesn’t trust him when he informs her, so they decide not to attend the ball together. Carter tells Serena during the event that Cecily isn’t actually sick and that she set it up for them to go together weeks ago. When she confronts Cecily, she discovers that she lied to ensure Serena left by claiming she could be ill.
