Briana’s official modeling career began in 2011, but she first appeared in front of the camera a few years ago in the short film Bad English. Briana was three years old when the short film was shot in Miami in 2008. Briana began modeling at the age of six in Miami, where she appeared in several print advertisements for well-known companies such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Target, and Walmart. Roy and her siblings, as well as her parents, Marie and Wiener Roy, relocated to Los Angeles, California, to support Briana’s modeling career. Briana was given several opportunities to appear in both national and international commercials. She appeared in commercials for brands such as ‘Kmart,’ ‘Comcast Xfinity,’ and ‘Tide.’
Briana’s breakthrough acting role came early in her career, when she was cast alongside John Cusack, Ryan Phillippe, and Rachelle Lefevre in the 2014 drama-thriller film Reclaim. She portrayed Nina, a shy and reserved Haitian girl, in the film. Before she was cast as Nina, the producers of Reclaim conducted a nationwide search for a suitable child actress to play Nina onscreen. After several auditions and screen tests, Briana was finally cast as Nina. She was a part of Nike’s ‘International Fitness Ad & Video Campaign’ in 2016. In the same year, she appeared in Yuna’s Crush music video, which also featured world-renowned singer Usher.
She later co-hosted the popular American talk show FABLife with her sister Jenasha. Briana appeared on the show in a segment called Kid DIY Sisters, which was hosted by Leah Ashley and Lauren Makk. Roy was also seen in the teen drama television series Recovery Road in 2016. She portrayed the younger version of a character named Trish in the series. Jessica Sula, Sebastian de Souza, and Kyla Pratt also play important roles in Recovery Road. Briana was later seen playing the lead in one of Australian rapper Illy’s official music videos, Oh My.’ Roy also had the opportunity to collaborate with American football quarterback and NFL superstar Cam Newton.
She made an appearance on the popular television game show Idiotest in 2017. Briana appeared in an episode titled Kids vs Kids alongside her sister Jenasha. In 2017, she appeared in a number of short films, including Snooze Wakes Up The Planet, Sweet Rice, and Letters. Letters, in which she portrayed Brianna Taylor, went on to win two awards at the prestigious ‘International Independent Film Awards.’ In 2018, she starred as Kendra in the web series Elle Twelve. She also appeared in the Disney family sitcom television series Raven’s Home. Briana made her rap debut in June 2021 with the release of her rap single, Been With It.
