Sullivan is credited with being one of the first financial journalists to warn about the housing bubble’s dangers. He’s been nominated for two Loeb Awards, one for his 2013 documentary America’s Gun: Rise of the AR-15 and the other for his 2007 special “Subprime Shockwaves,” which won the NY CPA Society Excellence in Financial Journalism Award.

Prior to joining Bloomberg in 1997, Sullivan worked for Mitsubishi International, where he traded chemical commodities. Sullivan also competes in the SCCA’s Spec Racer Ford class.
