Branden Jacobs-Jenkins is a Playwrigh from the United Statest. Gloria and Everybody, two of his plays, were semifinalists for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 2016 and 2018. Jacobs-Jenkins Gloria
Under the direction of Evan Cabnet, Gloria was presented off-Broadway at the Vineyard Theatre from June 15, 2015, to July 18, 2015. In January 2013, the play was given a workshop at the Vineyard Theatre. An “ambitious group of editorial assistants at a notorious Manhattan magazine” is the subject of the play. Gloria was a nominee for the Outstanding Play Lucille Lortel Award in 2016. War debuted at the Yale Repertory Theater, New Sanctuary, in December 2014, as a commission from the Yale Rep. Coordinated by Lileana Blain-Cruz, the cast highlighted Tonya Pinkins, Philippe Bowgen, Rachael Holmes, Greg Keller and Trezana Beverley. War opened at the Lincoln Community LCT3 series Off-Broadway on May 21, 2016 in sneak peaks, authoritatively on June 6, coordinated by Lileana Blain-Cruz, and went through July 3. Everyone was created Off-Broadway by the Mark Theater, and opened on January 31, 2017 in sneak peaks, authoritatively on February 21. He joined the personnel of the College of Texas at Austin MFA playwriting program, in the 2019 semester.
