The Young and the Restless
He appeared as Thunderbird, a Mutant with super strength, invulnerability, foresight, and heightened senses on FOX’s The Gifted. He is of Apache descent and has military experience. He also leads the Mutant Underground. Thunderbird frequently seeks out mutants fleeing the Sentinel Services in need of shelter.
Thunderbird was born on an Apache reservation and entered the military as a young man, serving in Afghanistan. His father, a soldier, received numerous decorations for valor during two tours in Afghanistan. After being discharged from the Marine Corps for being a mutant, he turned to booze and pain relievers to cope. At a fight club, Evangeline Whedon approached him and offered him the opportunity to oversee Atlanta’s Mutant Underground station.
Initially apprehensive, he finally cleaned himself up and dedicated himself to assisting other mutants. In Phoenix, Arizona, he sought to raise funds for the 7/15 victims but was confronted with hostility by an anti-mutant individual. alongside extraordinary senses, he co-founded the Mutant Underground alongside Polaris and was named leader by the X-Men prior to their disappearance.
Passions
Redford appeared as Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald on Passions. Miguel, the son of Martin and Pilar Lopez-Fitzgerald, falls for Charity and her cousin Kay. They intend to marry, but Kay’s attempts to end their relationship result in her turning to bad powers and attempting to sabotage Miguel. Despite their setbacks, Miguel ultimately reconciles with Kay and their daughter, Fox. Despite being tempted by a mermaid, Miguel stays faithful to Kay and reconciles with her.
Fox and his father attempt to frame Miguel for an affair with Charity and Fox’s attempted murder. Miguel is sentenced to prison alongside his brother Luis, but he never gives up hope of reconciling with Kay. After Kay and Fox’s marriage dissolves, Julian and Fox allow Miguel to be released and reunite with Kay. Fox eventually gives up on their relationship, but Miguel pursues Endora, a character from the story.
