She appeared in the Italian comedy ‘Perdiamoci di vista’ and the French film ‘Charlotte de Sauve La Reine Margot’ in 1994. Argento also made two short films that year, ‘A nitroso and ‘Perspective’. She appeared in the drama film ‘Compagna di viaggio two years later. Soon after, she began appearing in English-language films, beginning with ‘New Rose Hotel’ and ‘B. Monkey’ in 1998. The Italian beauty wrote and directed her first fiction feature film, ‘Scarlet Diva,’ in 2000.
In 2004, Argento directed her second feature film, “The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things.” She starred in the period drama ‘The Last Mistress three years later.
