Pebdani played Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Carlene.Carlene is a psychic and a friend of Gina Linetti, Leonard’s Designer Shoes’ assistant manager. During a narcotics bust in The Tagger, Gina brought Carlene into the precinct and offered her assistance to the cops in order to help them solve a case. Carlene is well-known for her psychic abilities, which include tarot card and palm reading.
Additionally, she earned a degree in numerology via the internet. In her vision, she foretells that the drugs they seek will be found in an area that closely resembles the Jay Street Apartment. The letters L, S, R, T, W, B, and E are involved, as well as the hues blue and yellow. Diane never discloses or describes her disease, although she does say that she is concerned about electroconvulsive therapy, as advised by her doctors. While playing Blind Man’s Bluff with the other patients, House encounters Diane. He cheats by looking at his own card and folding it by using the reflection in her glasses. At the talent show, Diane and Dr. Beasley dance the Macarena.
Pebdani Big City Greens
The tetartagonist of Big City Greens, Alice “Gramma” Delores Green, is voiced by Pebdani. She is the matriarch of the Green family, Cricket and Tilly’s paternal grandmother, and Bill’s mother. Her son Bill Green and her former daughter-in-law Nancy Mulligan call her “ma,” while her grandkids Cricket and Tilly Green refer to her as “Gramma.”
Compared to Bill, Alice is shorter, has wrinkles, light blue hair (which was brown when she was younger), and a distinctively square head with a bird’s beak. She is depicted in “Space Chicken” with a wooden prosthetic leg attached to her right leg.
She is mostly covered in her height by the long pink dress she is wearing. She is dressed in black circular glasses with light blue lenses, pink fuzzy slippers, and a pearl necklace that belonged to her deceased ex-husband. She wears a hearing aid in her left ear and carries a cane as well.
Although Alice presents herself as grumpy and cruel on the outside, she is actually kind and compassionate, and she will stop at nothing to support her family. Hardened by her military duty, she is a war veteran who is known for being “tough as nails” and never leaving anyone behind. Alice is truly a defiant individual who is obstinate and extroverted for her age, wanting to do anything she pleases. It is believed that the reason behind her behavior stems from her early years.
