Career

Ant began performing in theaters in the United States in 1991. Ant appeared as a contestant on Last Comic Standing in seasons two and three. She is the host of the VH1 reality show Celebrity Fit and a regular judge on Steve Harvey’s Big Time show. In the summer of 2006, the American film Ant premiered on MTV’s gay-oriented Logo cable channel. Ant is also a regular guest speaker on programs such as VH1’s Best Week and CNBC’s Dennis Miller, and is a regular guest on The Tyra Banks Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and The Howard Stern Show.

In 2007, he guest starred on the MTV sketch comedy show Short Circuitz with Snoop Dogg. Ant has appeared as a regular celebrity guest on the reality show The Truth with Jackée Harry, Mesch Taylor, and John O’Hurley. In 2008, he appeared as a contestant on the VH1 reality show Celebracadabra, where celebrities train with experienced magicians and compete in elimination rounds. Ant was eliminated in episode 2 and resurrected in episode 4, but did not win. On 30 September 2008, it was announced that Ant had sued British owners Ant & Dec over their use of the “Ant” name in the United States. The lawsuit includes, among other things, allegations of fraud and fraud. The case was dismissed in May 2010.
