The Afterparty
She appeared as Hannah Minnows, Edgar’s adopted sister in the American comedy murder mystery anthology television series The Afterparty. Every episode of the first season is set at a high school reunion after-party and presents “a different character’s perspective” of the events that transpired that evening.
It is an example of “the millennial whodunnit,” according to critic Olivia Rutigliano, a new subgenre of murder mystery in which characters use the investigation as a means of achieving personal fulfillment, second chances, and a way out of an oppressive or dull everyday life (by giving the impression that their life has transformed into a new genre). The second season is set the day after a wedding and follows the same format, with each guest sharing their perspective on the events leading up to and including the previous after-party.
Rosewood
She appeared as Tara Milly Izikoff (TMI), Pippy’s girlfriend/wife in the American police procedural drama series Rosewood. In order to solve the murder of a young woman, Dr. Beaumont Rosewood, a private pathologist, must collaborate with Miami Police Detective Annalise Villa. His mother’s requests must be balanced with their newfound sexual interest, and Villa’s social anxiety makes their inquiry more difficult. They must come up with a plan to use the few facts at their disposal to disprove their suspicions that a great doctor killed two of his patients. For Captain Hornstock’s reputation to be cleared, Rosewood and Villa need to mend their broken bond.
Rosewood enlists the aid of Dr. Mike Boyce, his closest friend, as they investigate a murder case and discover that he and the victim have a common history. They could also encounter affection from Donna and Pippy, who learn that TMI has concealed something from her. In the Miami art scene, they also apprehend a serial killer; however, they encounter threats from Hornstock and FBI Agent Heath Casablanca. Magic City Lab’s lifeblood is at jeopardy due to an upcoming lawsuit, which compels Donna to examine her son’s life closely.
In order to prevent another victim from becoming the next victim, Rosewood and Villa must pursue clues left for Rosie in the personal quest for a serial killer. Villa manages to get away by drawing herself nearer to Rosewood and delving more into the case. When Pippy decides to vent to TMI’s absentee mother, Donna steps in to stop her. Villa is offered the Chief job at Hornstock, but she has a falling out with her partner. The case opens new scars for her and TMI as well as reopening old ones for the entire Rosewood family. When Rosewood is matched with a new cardiologist, her partnership may not survive. Villa finds a new side to himself as they look into the death of a suburban dentist who was involved in a yuppie drug network. Villa is enlisted by Rosewood to assist in solving the crime, and together they look into the death of a telenovela star as Erica uses coercion to get close to Rosewood.
Pen15
She appeared as Anna Kone, a seventh-grader girl who is best friends with Maya and struggling with her parents’ divorce in the American comedy television series Pen15. Anna is the best singer at school, and she frequently uses music to cope with her home situation. Although Anna is more mature than Maya, she is also more susceptible to peer pressure. Anna Kone and Maya Ishii-Peters are close friends who want to do everything together when they enter seventh grade. Anna tries to win her crush Alex’s attention, while Maya believes Brandt and Dustin, the two cutest males in school, are both in love with her. When Maya discovers that Brandt and Dustin were playing a cruel trick on her by naming her the “UGIS” (Ugliest Girl in School), she persuades her older brother to teach her how to advocate for herself.
Although her brother urges her to fight Brandt, she understands there are alternative, less forceful ways to settle the dispute. They choose to blend in with Miranda and her friends, the popular kids, after they endure constant bullying from their classmates for playing with their Sylvanian Families toys. They find themselves sipping beer and doing whippets in Miranda’s garage. When Miranda’s mother unexpectedly returns home and accuses Maya of drinking the beer even though she only took one taste, after Anna finishes the entire can of beer, the two start to get along less and less because Maya is upset with Anna. They are able to mend their friendship and decide not to consume the cigarette they had been holding onto for that particular occasion by the end of the episode.
