The day of Super Bowl XXXVII, January 26, 2003, Milonakis made a video titled “The Super Bowl Is Gay” in lieu of going to a friend’s Super Bowl party. Two weeks after he uploaded the film to AngryNakedPat.com, it became widely popular. After noticing it, a writer for Jimmy Kimmel Live!, ABC’s newest late-night program, invited Milonakis to appear.
